Many years of searching for love and acceptance took Forshia Ross down a path of deep destruction... but God had a plan! She is an example of how God can transform a life. She is not just a survivor but an overcomer and her passion is that others would experience God’s redemptive plan for their lives. She gives hope to the brokenhearted and stirs the hearts of the complacent. She challenges others to lead a life of obedience to God.

An ordained and licensed minister, Rev. Forshia has learned through life’s adversities, that in Jesus, "lie hidden all the mighty, untapped treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” A gifted teacher, speaker, and writer, she has a unique ability of unlocking these treasures with practical keys of understanding. Using these keys, her mission is to empower others to live more abundant lives through understanding and applying God’s Word.

Founder and director of Treasures from the Heart Ministry, Rev. Ross has a radio and TV program which gives practical Biblical insight for daily living. Her radio program out of Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and York, PA is also aired on the Trumpet of God satellite in Israel reaching the Middle East. She is the author of No Secondhand Rose, My Name is Forshia, a book about her spiritual journey to wholeness. She also has a widely circulated newsletter and a web site that is reaching around the world.

Transplanted from the Washington, DC area, Forshia is originally from Alabama but she and her husband, Eric, have now made their home in Glendale, RI and are active members of Faith Fellowship Church in Uxbridge, MA. They have 2 children and 5 grandchildren.

Forshia served for 2 years as the RI State Prayer Coordinator and currently serves as a Prayer Ambassador for Aglow International. She has also been responsible for starting a dynamic prayer group called Deborah’s Army. Her mission through prayer is that God’s redemptive plan be accomplished for individuals, churches, communities, and nations. Forshia is also featured as a keynote speaker in the Vision New England’s Women’s Speakers Directory.
