Tithes and Offerings
No More Debt

I truly believe what God's Word says in Malachi 3:10,
Bring
the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my
house. Test me in this," says the Lord Almighty, "and see if I will not
throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that
you will not have room enough for it. (Read Malachi 3:8-12)
Even though God is God and obviously has all power to do anything He
desires, it is His principle to use what we have to multiply it. He
uses people and 'stuff' to accomplish His will in the earth. The Bible
says everything belongs to Him anyway. All He asks for is 1/10 of your
income and He will open the heavens for you. The Bible calls it 'first
fruits' of your income. The 'first fruits' belong to Him. I see the
tithe as 1/10 of what you have already made and 'offerings' (Malachi 3:8)
as above what you make or receive, planting a seed for future
blessings. It is His desire to bless you as we yield to His principles
and, of course, be good stewards of our finances in the process. God
can help you get out of debt and break the back of poverty in your
life. He can show you how. He just wants you to put your worries and
cares in His capable hands and trust Him. He has helped me through the
years as I have put this principle first in my life.
For your information, Treasures from the Heart is a 'tithing and offering'
ministry. We not only tithe but we bless people and ministries above
and beyond the tithe with offerings of money gifts and ministry
products. And we have been blessed back as we trust God with our
finances as a non-profit organization.
